WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR A FACILITY TO BE ACCREDITED?

When choosing a medical imaging facility, it's important to pick one that's accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR). Accreditation shows that the facility meets high standards of care.

River Oaks MRI & Imaging Centers have earned ACR certification for all our OPEN and CLOSE MRI machines after a thorough review process. Our Echo/Vascular Ultrasound services are in the process of being certified by ICANL, and our mammogram department is certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services.

The ACR checks the skills of staff, the quality of equipment, how well safety measures are followed, and the clarity of the images produced. These factors are key to ensuring top-quality images and better patient care. Experts, like board-certified doctors and physicists, conduct these evaluations.

Getting this certification is a detailed and costly process, but it assures both doctors and patients that they’re getting the best MRI service possible. While accreditation is voluntary, it reflects River Oaks MRI's commitment to excellence in imaging.
